Mayor Marianne Meed Ward Talks About Burlington's Speed Enforcement Program
It was exactly one week ago that Premier Doug Ford held a press conference to announced that the provincial government will soon table legislation to ban the use of speed cameras. This came as quite the shock to the city of Burlington who the week prior to this had just announced their plans for an automated speed enforcement program... which included putting up signs to let residents know that this would start 90-days from the announcement. so where does that leave the city now That was Jason Agnew's question to Burlington mayor Marianne Meed Ward.

MP Kristina Tesser Derksen Talks About Waiting For The Vote Recount
The 2025 Canadian federal election took place on April 28th... and one of the most controversial ridings in the country was a new one, and just happened to be right here in Halton. Milton east / Halton hills south was a hotly contested riding with the two front runners being liberal candidate Kristina Tesser Derksen and conservative candidate and former mp and MPP, Parm Gill. The unofficial results posted on election night showed that Parm Gill had won the redrawn riding by 298 votes. but after validating the numbers, elections Canada then reported reported that liberal Kristina Tesser Derksen won by 29 votes. Then it went to a full recount... which eventually saw Kristina Tesser Derksen win by 21 votes. but the process itself was not quick, and thus Jason Agnew took her back to that time and asked what she did while she waited for those votes to be re-counted?

We're in the midst of Jason Agnew's chat with the president of the Oakville, Milton and district real estate board Ken Mazurek and Ken just briefly mentioned condos.
