The Burloak theatre group is preparing to kick off their 2025-2026 season this weekend with their first production at the Oakville centre for the performing arts and they are so excited for you to watch as the set falls apart and they forget their lines. Intimate partner violence continues to be a significant issue in Halton. Halton Regional Police recently shared statistics that show hundreds of arrests and thousands of charges laid last year. Those were presented at "Safe Haven", an event in Georgetown where survivors and agencies who help women escape from these situations gathered.
