Lyme disease is spread through the bite of infected ticks. In 2017, there were over 1400 cases of the disease across Canada, most of them in Ontario. The Gravel Run on October 16th raises funds for research into the disease through the G. Magnotta Foundation. Dennis Matthews joins Mike Balsom on Zoom to explain the event.

The Niagara Falls Community Health Centre has partnered with the Green Door Project to provide no-cost, emergency dental care for individuals 18-64 years of age, without coverage for dental care through either private health insurance or any form of social assistance.​ The Green Door Project was started in November 2020 by Green Shield Canada who are also working with the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto to conduct dental research through this initiative.
