Walk ‘Shoulder to Shoulder’ and Honour our Canadian Military
This Sunday Sept 22, join the Canadian Walk for Veterans, hosted by the Kingston Military Family Resource Centre, to raise awareness and honour our Canadian Military, Veterans and their Families. Kingstonians are invited to walk ‘Shoulder to Shoulder’ and show their support. The starting point for the walk will be the KMFRC at 32 Lundy’s Lane, and the event will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Scouts Canada is calling on Kingston's Active Seniors, New Canadians, Parents, and Students to volunteer and help them empower young people in Kingston with confidence and resiliency by supporting a host of creative, team-building, and inspiring activities. Kingston is currently at the top of a list where Scouts has identified provinces and cities where there are waitlists of Scouts and the need for volunteers is greatest.
