In Lecture 3, We’ve Got Rhythm! on May 23, join music educator Carole Jodouin to explore the difference between beat and rhythm and how rhythm is created and represented in music. Some members of the North Bay Ukulele Club will be on hand to add their own special style of rhythm to the presentation.

Lecture 1, The Enjoyment of Listening, on May 9 will cover the essentials of how to listen to music with a knowledgeable ear. Two accomplished musicians Calvin Cheng (violin) and Geoff Sinclair (french horn) will share their personal perspectives through discussion and demonstration.
