The Choral North Bay Choral Society is presenting their spring concert featuring songs from the British Invasion on Saturday April 20 and Sunday April 21 at 2pm. 

Location:  Elks Lodge, 325 Elks Lane, North Bay. 

Tickets:  Adults $20 (Children 12 and under free)  can be purchased at the door, at Stix & Stones, The Farm, The North Bay Museum or online at northbaychoralsociety @hotmail.com

Why dine out alone? Socialize with other solo diners in a group in a room just for us. Next solo event is dinner Thursday, April 18th, 5:30 at the Mandarin Restaurant St Catharines. All adult ages regardless of marital status welcomed. It's no one's business but your own why you are a solo diner.  Order off the menu or enjoy the buffet. Seniors 65+ with id get 20% off the buffet price. Cost is what you order. No membership fee.  So don't be shy or hesitant to come out to this solo event. The restaurant is accessible and has plenty of parking. Check the restaurant's web site for prices. Child Haven Dinner Event Join us for an evening of food, dance and stories at the Royal Kingston Curling Club on April 27th at 6pm. Browse our bazaar featuring handicrafts from Nepal before being seated for a delicious Indian meal, served to your table. Our guest speaker, Ganesh Kumar, will share stories of his experience at Child Haven’s Tamid Nadu home. The evening will wrap up with an auction of handicrafts and a chance to try some Bollywood dancing. This is a fundraiser for Child Haven International, which assists children and women in developing countries, who need shelter, food, education, healthcare, and emotional support. Tickets are $40 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. They are available at Novel Idea and at childhaven.ca
