Visit Ireland House Museum on Sunday, May 18 from 1pm to 4pm for a fun line-up of activities as we celebrate International Museum Day! Go on Victorian themed scavenger hunt, discover the simple fun of Victorian era toys and learn how to churn butter!  Activities are included in regular Museum admission (free for members) and available throughout the afternoon. Community Living Oakville (CLO) is a non-profit charitable organization that has held a longstanding reputation within Oakville and the Halton region for 70 years. Our agency supports people with developmental disabilities to develop skills towards independence and participate in meaningful opportunities; striving for community inclusion.

Our organization provides support to over 300 people in supported living, community participation supports and employment services as well as 300 staff and volunteers, all of whom are dedicated to ensuring that everyone can enjoy their right to lead active and productive lives.

CLO strongly believes in the importance of advocacy for those that are vulnerable or underrepresented and we empower the people we support to advocate for their rights of equality and inclusion within our local community. While our organization is ministry funded, the support received only covers basic everyday essentials – like food, shelter, utilities, transportation and staff. And like most government funded service providers; we often need to do more with less.

A unique choral experience, the Associated Male Choruses of Ontario has been presenting its annual Ontario Sings for many years.  

This year's six participating choruses are Brant Men of Song,  Cambridge Male Chorus, Guelph Male Choir, Niagara Men's Chorus, Schneider Male Chorus, and MenAloud! male chorus.

As well as solos performed by each chorus,  the combined ensemble will perform a rich variety of massed numbers.  Experience the powerful and thrilling sound of 120+ voices raised in song!

Celebrate dad with the delicious pairing of local craft beer and artisanal cheese! Join us on Sunday, June 8, 2025 for our “Dad’s Night Out: Beer & Cheese Tasting Workshop” at Joseph Brant Museum. The evening will feature a 1-hour interactive workshop pairing a selection of craft beers from Northern Crow Brewing with complimentary artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, and a fresh-baked pretzel.
