Many people in and around Muskoka grabbed a coffee at Tim Hortons today to help send kids to camp.

Schools across Muskoka participate in a mock vote this past week. More than 300,000 elementary and secondary students across the province took on the roles of election officials and cast ballots for the official candidates running in their electoral district through Student Vote Ontario. In total, more than 2,800 schools have registered to participate in the mock election, representing all 124 electoral districts. The project was made possibly by Elections Ontario.

Students at Bracebridge Muskoka Lakes Secondary High School recently walked from noon to midnight for a good cause.

Deerhurst Resort is hosting the  World Water Ski Show Tournament from September 7-9, 2018. Six countries will compete in Huntsville. This is the first time this event is being held in Canada.
