WINTER STORM WARNING FOR APRIL 2
Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning for Huntsville and Parry Sound area. Mother Nature is not done with winter just yet. Meantime, a Special Weather Statement is in effect for South Muskoka. Environment Canada says Freezing rain or snow possible late Tuesday into Wednesday morning. Precipitation associated with a Colorado low pressure system will spread into much of central and eastern Ontario Tuesday afternoon. The precipitation will likely start off as light rain or snow, but may transition to freezing rain Tuesday evening.
Brenda Rhodes to run as Liberal candidate in Parry Sound-Muskoka
The Parry Sound-Muskoka Provincial Liberal Association hosted a nomination meeting on Mar. 27 at Tea Beards in Gravenhurst. In that meeting the association nominated Brenda Rhodes to run in the provincial election on June 7, 2018.

Huntsville Employment Service moves job fair to bigger location
One of their biggest job fairs of the year, the Huntsville YMCA Employment Service is hosting the fair on March 28. Historically the job fair was held at the Active Living Centre. However, it's been moved to the Jack Bionda Arena to accommodate 65 employers who are participating.
