Today was Pitch Day in Gravenhurst for the finalist at Muskoka Founders Circle. The ultimate prize? $10, 000 dollars towards a business start up.

The excitement is building in Parry Sound as former resident Mark Ideson is heading back to the Paralympic Games. A gold medalist in Sochi, Ideson will skip for team Canada's curling team.

The 4th annual Curlers Care Bonspiel in support of the Troops, Veterans and their Families took place in Parry Sound recently.

SRS Huntsville has supported a Syrian refugee family for over a year and now they say goodbye as Jmal Al Rashed and his family get ready to move to Ottawa. On Feb. 20, SRS Huntsville hosted a special goodbye dinner. 

The Muskoka North Good Food Co-op is excited to go to the next level in servicing the community and they have collaborated with The Town of Huntsville to make that happen.

The Canadian Tire Red Door appeared at Hidden Valley Highlands Ski Area on Feb. 19 to connect Dara Howell, who is still in South Korea from the Winter Olympics, with family and friends right here at home. Howell not only talks about  her run on the slope, but what she has planned for the future. 

The OPP is warning snowmobilers to keep off the waterways if you can help it and to also be mindful on the trails which are slippery as well.
