Mark your calendars for Ribstock Festival 2025, happening Friday, June 20 and Saturday, June 21 at Firemen’s Park in Niagara Falls! This free-admission, all-ages community festival is being proudly presented in partnership with the Stamford Centre Volunteer Firemen’s Association (S.C.V.F.A.) — longtime supporters of local events and charities. Get ready for two days of live music with 13 bands, food trucks, retail vendors, and a Kid Zone with bouncy castles and pony rides for the family. On Saturday from 3–8 PM, we’re also hosting a classic car show in collaboration with Storm the Falls! Ribstock is a homegrown festival — built entirely without government funding — and is raising money for three outstanding local charities: 🟡 Pathstone Mental Health 🟡 Project SHARE 🟡 Boys and Girls Club of Niagara We’re raffling off amazing prizes, including three 50” TVs and helicopter tours donated for the charities to raise funds, and offering door prizes like a 58” TV and $250 tattoo gift card from T-Tatto You. 🎟️ Free tickets (with tear-off prize stubs) are being distributed by bands, sponsors, and at the gate. Music at Nelles Manor with Harp’n Aboot Saturday June 28

Harp’n Aboot will be making their debut at the Saturday June 28 Music at Nelles Manor performance. Harp’n Aboot is the duo of Doug Feaver and Ruth Sutherland. They will be playing some songs that are very old and traditional, and mixing those with new songs and pieces that they've written themselves. The music ranges from beautiful ballads to raucous hand-clappers. Hold on to your boots! 

Bring your own chairs, blankets and even a picnic. 

Tickets are $10 Adults, $5 Students, and Children 0 – 13 Free.

Background

Doug Feaver is a singer/songwriter/storyteller/performer from Grimsby Ontario who plays guitar, harmonica, boots, drums, banjo, bass, and sitar, and his roots are in rock, folk and bluegrass music. Ruth Sutherland is a professional singer/songwriter/harpist from Hamilton whose roots are in folk, Celtic, and classical music. She has a trained mezzo-soprano voice, and Doug doesn't! Together, they are two-thirds of the acclaimed Canadian Celtic trio Scantily Plaid, having performed in concerts and festivals across North America and Europe for over two decades ( www.scantilyplaid.com ). As a duo, Ruth and Doug are called "Harp'n aboot"  https://www.instagram.com/harpnaboot/  .
