Matt Jardine
It was 2016 the last time Bianca Tomori was able to sit down and talk with Matt Jardine, best known for his work as a vocalist and percussionist for the Beach Boys and Brian Wilson. Matt is also the son of longtime, and original Beach Boys guitarist Al Jardine.
With the recent passing of Brian, Bianca talked to Matt on what Brian meant to The Beach Boys and him personally, as well as what fans can expect when Matt and The Surf City All-Stars perform this weekend at The Riviera Theatre in North Tonawanda.
Recipients of The Shaw Festival 2025 Town Preview Funding Program
The Source attended The Shaw Festival Theatre last week, for their announcement of the recipients of the 2025 Town Preview Funding program. Every season, the Shaw offers specially priced tickets to area residents to preview performances.
Proceeds raised from these designated performances are distributed to various local charitable organizations who apply for funding.
Global Irish Famine Way Unveiling
The Source visited The St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre Tuesday, for the local installation of the Global Famine Way, commemorating the thousands of Irish immigrants and Great Irish Famine survivors who arrived in St. Catharines between 1837 and 1850 to work on the second Welland Canal.
