Gillian’s Place welcomed the community back to The Market Square recently for the return of their annual "Wrapped In Courage" Pancake Breakfast. 

November is Woman Abuse Prevention Month, and the Wrapped in Courage campaign calls on all Ontarians to show support for survivors by wearing a purple scarf and donating to a local shelter. 

For $20, guests received a Gillian’s Place scarf, pancakes and sausage, fruit, water/juice, and Starbucks coffee and/or tea. The Breakfast was proudly powered by Niagara College Culinary Services.

Garden City Productions presents Lerner and Loewe’s popular Broadway Musical, Brigadoon. It all takes place November 8th to 17th (select days and times) on the Mandeville Theatre stage at Ridley College. Brenda Schultz files this report.

The Ellens & Haick families are teaming up once again to support the McMaster Children's Hospital. Their 2nd annual music trivia night hopes to raise thousands of dollars for the hospital that has impacted them directly. 

Jess Boulay is the Niagara coordinator for The Shoebox Project. Jess visited the studio to provide an update on this year's campaign. 

Grade seven and eight students in both Niagara school boards have the opportunity to visit the Niagara Falls Innovation Hub and as Anthony Luongo tells us, the work these participants are doing is impressive, current and down right cool!
