Wayne Gates - Uncork Ontario
Niagara's Wine Industry is estimated to contribute a billion dollars annually to Canada's Gross Domestic Product. But according to a report called Uncork Ontario, it has the potential for much, much more. Niagara Falls MPP Wayne Gates believes that added potential can only be reached if the 6.1% provincial tax that wineries are forced to pay on sales at their own locations is eliminated.
