Muskoka Maple Festival 2018
It was a packed downtown Huntsville on April 21 for the third annual Muskoka Maple Festival. Hundreds came out to enjoy great food, entertainment, music and of course everything maple.
Muskoka Matters April 9: Canadian Cancer Society
April is Canadian Cancer Awareness Month. In this episode, guests include Linda Smith, the Huntsville Branch President of the Canadian Cancer Society, David Trethewey, a volunteer driver from Gravenhurst and Art Sibley, a community ambassador.
Guests discussed the importance of the Canadian Cancer Society and shared personal stories about why they got involved.

Town of Huntsville wants to dissolve MAHC
Huntsville Council hosted their regular meeting at the Algonquin Theatre on April 23. Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) made a presentation which was followed by questions from council. It seems some members of council and Mayor Scott Aitchison did not get what they were looking for and passed a motion to request the Ministry of Health dissolve MAHC. Bob Stone was the only councillor to vote against the motion. We have reached out to MAHC and awaiting their response.

Muskoka Maple Festival 2018
The Muskoka Maple Trail ends off with a festival on Sat. April 21. Local maple vendors, entertainment and more will be on hand to offer you a truly maple experience. It's happening in downtown Huntsville and will kick off with a pancake breakfast served by the Rotary Club of Huntsville. It all starts at 9am. For more information, click here.

Millions invested to expand Muskoka Brewery
Muskoka Brewery is investing $5-million in expansion projects. The funds will go towards increasing the brewery’s capacity, improve their beer products with new technology and equipment and expand the retail store and taproom. This is the largest investment in 23 years. The goal is to have it all completed in June 2018.
