Aside from the competition, another big part of the Niagara 2022 Canada Summer Games is the "13 for 13 Cultural Festival". On Sunday, the Niagara Region paired with Ontario, with the celebrations taking place at Niagara Place at Canada Games Park.

The Source visited the Rosberg Room at the Niagara Falls Public Library to view an Art Exhibition paying tribute to the Niagara 2022 Canada Summer Games. pARTicipation 2022 is a collaboration between Brock University, the DSBN and Niagara Catholic District School Board as well as the Fort Erie Native Friendship Centre. After a 2 year absence, the Niagara-On-The-Lake Chamber of Commerce's Peach Celebration made a return to Queen Street! "LEAD LIKE A GIRL: Canada Summer Games Edition” is a new program offered by the Centre for Sport Capacity at Brock University. This 3-day leadership development camp is for girls aged 11-13 years who are involved in any level of sport. Lori Taraba dropped by the campus to find out more.
