Jerry Zremski - The Buffalo News
Both Canada and the U.S. revealed this week that the border between the two countries will remain closed until at least July 21st. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is set to ease some restrictions for travelers in the coming weeks, but residents on both sides are itching tor a reopening. Jerry Zremski of the Buffalo News joins Mike Balsom on Zoom to discuss some frustration from residents in Western New York.
Guillaume Boucard - Niagara River Lions
The Niagara River Lions open their CEBL season on June 24th in Ottawa against the BlackJacks. Guillaume Boucard, a forward for the River Lions is returning for his 4th season on the team and is looking forward to competing again in Canada. He recently returned from France where he had another stellar year for the Mulhouse Basket Agglomeration! Mike Balsom files this report.

The Federal Government has released details of its spending on its Healthy Communities Initiative. Niagara is set to receive more than $100,000 allocated to five different communities. Bryan Rose of the Niagara Community Foundation and Elisabeth Graham of Heartland Forest check in with Mike Balsom to explain the announcement.
Dr. Karim Ali - June 22nd
More shipments of COVID-19 vaccines are set to arrive in Niagara and more clinics are scheduled to to open throughout the region. Dr. Karim Ali, Director of Infectious Diseases at Niagara Health is encouraging all residents to get vaccinated. Mike Balsom brings you this report.

The Rotary Club of Niagara Falls Sunrise "Rotary Ribs To Go"
The Rotary Club of Niagara Falls Sunrise continued their annual Father's Day weekend tradition, with their Rotary Ribfest taking place at Rapidsview Park. Because of the pandemic, guests were not able to leave their vehicles, but instead the ribbers brought the BBQ to their cars. The Source's Kennedy Reynolds was there and files this report.
30 Guys in 30 Days - BBBS of North and West Niagara
Big Brothers Big Sisters of North and West Niagara are running a campaign for the month of June called 30 Guys in 30 Days. They're hoping to recruit 30 males to mentor littles that are currently on the wait list. Mike Balsom interviews Cody and Leo and they discuss what it's like to be partnered as a Big and Little!
