2025 St. Catharines Athlete and Sportsperson of the Year
Brock University Women's Basketball star Madalyn Weinert was recently named St. Catharines Athlete of the Year. Niagara River Lions President Michelle Biskup was named Sportsperson of the Year. This is the first time in history that women won both awards. Congratulations! Jennifer Wittig reports.

Niagara Matters highlights the "Welcoming Streets Initiative." It's a joint program between Positive Living Niagara and REACH Niagara. This program focuses on fostering community connections in public spaces of downtown St. Catharines by ensuring individuals have access to necessary supports.
