Boxill Doherty presents the 2nd Annual Autumn in the Air Concert, fundraiser taking place at St. Marks Church, 41 Byron St in Niagara on the Lake on September 16, at 7pm.

Come and experience and evening of classical music featuring some members of the Shaw ensemble and the community, all volunteering their talent and time in support of the Boxill Doherty Fund. Silent auction prior to the concert at 6pm.

Boxill Doherty Fund is an independent initiative which supports our local theatre artists who find themselves in extraordinary or emergency situations.

A Special appearance by the Shaw Festival Gospel Choir !

Elvis is in the house!  He'll be performing at St. John's on Thursday, August 22!  What a great way to spend a summer evening.

Garry Wesley will be rocking the room, starting at 7 p.m., with his Elvis Tribute Show. Garry has been performing his tribute to Elvis since 1980 and has won numerous awards. He performs regularly throughout North America. He’ll be joined on stage by Donna Brooks, who will be performing songs by Patsy Cline and Tammy Wynette.

Why dine out alone?  Socialize with other solo diners in a group for dinner, 5:30, Thursday, August 15th, at the Mandarin Restaurant, St. Catharines.  All adult ages regardless of marital status are welcomed.  Order off the menu or enjoy the buffet.  Seniors 65+ with id get 20% off the buffet price. Join event initiative founder BLing Events International Entertainment & Mayor for the flag raising ceremony for Black African Caribbean Canadian Appreciation on August 14, 2024 at 11 am sharp at 426 Brant Street, outside Burlington City Hall by flag poles.  Arrive before the time to ensure that you can witness it. All are welcome . 

Then come back out to city hall to celebrate the occasion on August 17, 2024 at the Afro Caribbean Canadian Downtown Fete and enjoy the music and performances by various performing artists and DJ ‘s, CRAFT, Social & Community services vendors from 5-11 pm.
