Glen Williams Bicentennial Fair
In the northern part of Georgetown you can find the community of Glen Williams. This unique area has been featured in Hallmark movies and has had visits from the Prime Minister and his family more than once. 2025 marked the 200 anniversary of this hamlet. Halton Hills Mayor Ann Lawlor Gives Her Opinion on Speed Cameras
Last Thursday Premier Doug Ford held a press conference to announced that the Provincial Government will soon table legislation to ban the use of speed cameras. This has not sat well in many municipal governments, including that of Halton Hills. When Jason Agnew spoke with Mayor Ann Lawlor about it, she was quite firmly on the other side of the automated speed enforcement argument with proof from her municipality.

Mayor Marianne Meed Ward Talks About Burlington's Speed Enforcement Program
It was exactly one week ago that Premier Doug Ford held a press conference to announced that the provincial government will soon table legislation to ban the use of speed cameras. This came as quite the shock to the city of Burlington who the week prior to this had just announced their plans for an automated speed enforcement program... which included putting up signs to let residents know that this would start 90-days from the announcement. so where does that leave the city now That was Jason Agnew's question to Burlington mayor Marianne Meed Ward.
Milton Housing Press Conference
Its no secret that we are in the midst of a housing crisis here in Ontario. In an effort to encourage quicker growth, the province announced a "building faster fund" that rewards municipalities that meet at least 80% of the targets set out by the province... and the town of Milton recently exceeded their goal!
