The Burlington Bayhawks women will have their toughest test of the young 2025 season on Friday taking on Pickering, while the men will be up against it on Saturday as they travel to the University of Toronto's varsity stadium to take on Alliance United. Milton Mayor Gord Krantz Talks About Milton Installing Speed Cushions
After years of trying to slow down drivers on Martin street, the town of Milton is proposing a more assertive measure: installing speed cushions. Despite previous efforts -- including radar-equipped speed boards, targeted police enforcement, community safety zones and 'please slow down' lawn signs -- speeding remains a concern on the two-lane collector road, which has a posted speed limit of 50 km/h. A section near a school, drops to 40 km/h during specific times. Earlier this week, Jason Agnew asked Milton Mayor Gord Krantz if he thinks the speed cushions will be put in place.

The Eddies Film Festival 2025

Oakville Councillor Jeff Knoll on the Safe Access to Places of Worship By-law
At Monday night's meeting, Oakville town council unanimously approved the safe access to places of worship by-law, the by-law specifies what actions are not allowed within 50 metres of any place of worship to maintain safe public access.
