Burlington's New Tyandaga Trail
A new walking trail is being constructed in Burlington. The idea was first conceived about a year ago with an update to the community trails master plan and has now reached the construction stage. The goal is to connect a golf course in the northern part of Burlington with two parks while providing residents with an opportunity to benefit from getting out for some exercise and, possibly, socializing.

The CheerForce Wolfpack Golden Girls
Over the weekend cheerleaders from across the country competed in Oshawa while simultaneously raising money for cancer. Among the teams competing included our own local CheerForce Wolfpack Golden Girls. An all women team aged 16+ who have a true love of the sport. Nikki Wesley went to find out why they keep competing.
The Unique Donation Delivery to the Georgetown Bread Basket
You've likely heard the phrase, "it takes a village to raise a child", meaning that many share in a sense of community responsibility towards a goal. In Georgetown over the weekend that same kind of kinship was on display as generous donations were trucked into the local food bank. While the families who need help face challenges, those who delivered the goods took up a challenge of their own in the way they delivered over a distance of one and a half kilometres.
