Last Thursday the Milton Sports Celebrity Dinner was held. Hosted by longtime broadcaster Rod Black, Darcy Tucker was the guest of honour and Rod got the Maple Leafs alumnus's take on the current boys in blue.

Whether building endurance or building friendships, the Milton Macos Special Olympics Swim Team finds success in every lap. They recently held a fundraiser, with athletes pushing their limits to support their team's goals. Adding to the excitement, they received a visit from a Canadian Olympic swimmer. Earlier this month Premier Doug Ford unveiled his new cabinet and veteran Oakville MPP Stephen Crawford was appointed as the Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement. Jason Agnew had the chance to chat with Minister Crawford about his new responsibilities but before that Jason asked him to reflect on the latest in a long-line of provincial election wins.

When it comes to taking action towards a more environmentally friendly lifestyle the first adjustment most people may think about is reducing emissions from driving. However, the reality is that, in Halton region, more than half of all emissions come from buildings. Products aimed at reducing those emissions were a feature at this year's "future house" expo in Milton over the weekend.
