In an effort to remove unsafe commercial vehicles from the road, an inspection blitz took place across Halton last week. It was part of a north American wide effort to make sure our roads are safe. The annual initiative ensures police check the mechanical fitness of all the the trucks that are pulled over... and also, the fitness of the drivers in terms of whether they are too tired to be on the road.
