Dr. Patrick Galange Talks Ticks and Lyme Disease
Thanks to celebrities like Avril Lavigne and Shania Twain most people have Lyme disease on their radar and know that it stems from ticks, but for some reason, it seems that this year there are more tick warnings that ever before. So is it just the media capitalizing on these celebrities stories or is there actually more risk out there? Jason Agnew spoke with Dr. Patrick Galange, the Associate Director of Health for Halton Region and asked if 2025 has indeed brought about an increased risk of ticks.
