New Drury Lane Pedestrian Bridge Grand Opening
The new Drury lane pedestrian bridge was the focus of attention on Saturday as, despite already being open for two weeks, the official ceremony to open it took place, including a traditional ribbon cutting. Paid for by Metrolinx, it also marks progress on the way towards improving go train service in the area.

With the federal budget being released late last week, Jason Agnew had the opportunity to chat with Oakville-East MP and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anita Anand. Naturally this is a rather complicated budget considering the instability of Canada's current trade relationship with the United States. Jason chatted with Minister Anand about local touch points in the budget, including the status of the auto sector considering the Ford plant in Oakville, but started the conversation asking what aspects of this budget showcase that Canada is prepared for continued instability from our neighbours to the south.
