The Compassion Society's 25th Anniversary
Twenty five years ago a social support was born in Burlington, tomorrow night the Compassion Society is going to thank the community for helping support those who need a little boost. Nikki Wesley has details.
Burlington Sports Hall of Fame Ceremony 2025
Burlington has a long and notable sports history that includes many outstanding athletes, coaches, officials, media, and volunteers. In order to recognize and honour the individuals and teams that put the city on the map, the Burlington Sports Hall of Fame was created in 2007 and continues to award new inductees every spring. Jessica Kaitting was at their ceremony last night.
Singing For Smiles
They clapped, they danced, and yes--some even cried. A group of seniors got more than entertainment when a country singer brought her mission to their living room. It's all part of a program called singing for smiles. D Glazebrook was there to hear her story.

A trip that was organized by 880 cities inc in conjuction with the Canadian institute of health research and it was all about how to plan and build cities that promote health in all aspects physical, social and mental health. Jason Agnew asked the major for a couple examples of ideas she was exposed to while on the trip.

The Country Music Association of Ontario recently announced the 2025 CMA Ontario awards nominees.... and Paige Rutledge is nominated for album of the year, breakthrough artist of the year and artist of the year. Jason Agnew chatted with the Oakville native about the nomination, her career inspiration, and her own personal "break up rules" that fuelled her hit single.
