Jessica Kaitting spoke with Police Chief Stephen Tanner this morning at Halton Police Headquarters, where the team was excited to officially publicly announce their new Halton Police Foundation.

It was a lakeside mission with a simple message: small litter can leave a big impact. In Oakville's Lakeside Park, volunteers rolled up their sleeves for a shoreline cleanup with a twist -- this one focused on cigarette butts, the most common and toxic form of litter polluting our waterways.
