Representatives from Brock University’s Black Student Success Centre invited the community to attend the Future Black Leaders Conference recently.  This event was the first of its kind and Melicka Aldridge welcomed Speaker and Wellness Navigator, Dawn Kakiroko, and conference host, Tiffany Muhindi into our studio to discuss the conference.

Through year-round programs in paediatric hospitals, in local communities, and at medically supported overnight camp, children’s charity Campfire Circle offers kids the opportunity to be kids again. Nicole Regehr welcomes Senior Development Officer of Events, Ashley Dykun, and rider and supporter, Del Rollo to talk about Campfire Circle and the Tour d'Epicure.

May is National Caregiver Awareness Month and Niagara Falls MPP Wayne Gates is reintroducing a motion at Queen’s Park that would create a $1,000 monthly direct payment for Ontario’s unpaid caregivers — people looking after family or friends from home.

Thousands came out to participate in the Rankin Cancer Run held at Brock University. It was the first time that organizers held a large scale community event since 2019. 

The Fallsview Food and Drink Fest returns to Fallsview Casino Resort June 6th - 8th, featuring three days of food, drink, and celebrity chefs - with culinary demonstrations, and a variety of food and drink experiences.
