Episode #12 - Crime Stoppers of Niagara Appreciation Evening
For this week's "YourTV History", we go back to sometime in 2000 or 2001 for The Crime Stoppers of Niagara Appreciation Evening at Hernder Estate Wine. Since 1999, Crime Stoppers in Ontario has made 125136 arrests and paid out over $8 million in cash rewards to those who called the program with information which led to an arrest.
Easter Eggstravaganza 2019
The City of Port Colborne celebrated Easter at the Vale Health and Wellness Centre by holding their annual Easter Eggstravaganza event. While children were collecting eggs there, firefighters were collecting food and money donations for Port Cares at Sobey's. Michelle Cuthbert reports.
NSD Easter Egg Hunt for Dogs
The 8th annual NSD Easter Egg Hunt for Dogs took place at Charles Daley Park in Jordan Station recently. Dogs and their owners collected plastic eggs with dog treats inside to raise funds and awareness for National Service Dogs. Norah-Jean Howard reports.

It was April 2001 when Hershey Canada and The Niagara Parks Commission teamed up to present the first ever Easter Egg hunt, with over 250,000 eggs hidden throughout Queen Victoria Park.
