13 For 13 Cultural Festival - Lincoln and Newfoundland/Labrador
Aside from the competition, another big part of the Niagara 2022 Canada Summer Games is the "13 for 13 Cultural Festival". Every day, a different Niagara municipality collaborates with one of Canada’s 13 provinces and territories to showcase the unique cultural heritage, entertainment, art, and culinary experiences of each! Things kicked off Sunday with the Town of Lincoln paired with Newfoundland and Labrador and The Source was on site at Charles Daley Park to capture some of the evening and check out if anyone "kissed the cod"!
13 for 13 Cultural Festival - West Lincoln and Saskatchewan
The 13 for 13 Festival rolled in the Township West Lincoln, where Saskatchewan was the province that was its partner.
Hall Of Honour - August 2022
The Canada Games Council was thrilled to reveal the six remarkable alumni who were inducted into the Canada Games Hall of Honour at the Niagara 2022 Canada Summer Games. The Class of 2022 features legendary Canadian athletes Brian McKeever and Steve Nash, trailblazing builders Tom Quinn and the late Don Goodwin, and distinguished alumni Stacey Allaster and Michael Strange. Anthony Luongo reports.

Team NL Arrives in NOTL
Athletes, coaches and staff from Team Newfoundland/Labrador arrived in NOTL to begin their journey at the Niagara 2022 Canada Summer Games. Reporter Lori Taraba spoke with Chef de Mission Gary Martin as well as athletes Grace Mack and Matthew Cornect, who are both competing in two different events at the Games.
Totem Pole Restoration
The City of St. Catharines invited members of the public to see the progress on the Totem Pole restoration from Richard Pierpoint Park and meet the artist in charge of it all. Source reporter Jennifer Wittig spoke with Bruce Alfred about the process of restoring the 40ft Cedar Totem Pole that was erected in the downtown park in 1967.
