St. Catharines Community Gardens Funding Program
The City of St. Catharines Development Horticultural Technician Ilyse Norton joined Mike Balsom on Zoom to discuss the City's plan for Community Gardens this spring. Incorporated charities and not-for-profit groups can apply for matching funds from the City to cover up to half of eligible start-up costs. This includes lumber, soil, seeds, rain barrels and other materials and necessary tools.
Rick Jeanneret - The Voice of the Buffalo Sabres
Mike Balsom's guest has been the play-by-play announcer for the Buffalo Sabres since the '71/'72 season. He's the longest tenured announcer with one team in NHL history. He's in the Hockey Hall of Fame and has been awarded the Foster Hewitt Award, among many other honours. He joins Mike on Zoom to discuss his amazing career.
