The Niagara Woodcarvers Association held their 40th annual Woodcarving show and competition at Heartland Forest in Niagara Falls. Wonders of Wood featured over 60 carvers from across the province and United States. Lori Taraba reports.

James J. Hall made a visit to The Meridian Community Centre in Fonthill recently, to learn more about "Rise & Shine Yoga", just one of four fundraising events part of this year's Many Hands Project. The Many Hands Project is a student driven community project run by the Event Management Program students at Niagara College. Money raised from this year's events will go to Pathstone Mental Health.
