On Thursday July 27th 2023, from 11am-2pm at North Bay Leger Square outside of City Hall, The AIDS Committee of North bay & Area will be hosting an afternoon of FREE activities, confidential point of care testing for Hepatitis C and HIV, giveaways, community partner information booths, a proclamation from the Mayor and a BBQ to bring the community together for World Hepatitis Day.

World Hepatitis Day (WHD) takes places globally every year bringing the world together under a single theme to raise awareness of the global burden of viral hepatitis and to influence real change. In 2023 the theme is ‘We’re not waiting.

On World Hepatitis Day, 28 July, we call on people around the world to take action because Hepatitis Can’t Wait.

Warkworth Fall Fair is celebrating its 171st event. A small town fair with something for everyone! Live music (Rayzor's Edge, Hells Bells, Irish Millie and Mudmen), Horse shows, truck and tractor pulls, sheep shearing and so much more! Sept. 8th -10th. The St Francis de Sales Knights of Columbus Council 11531 will be holding their Annual Community BBQ, Car Wash & Yard Sale on Saturday, July 22nd in the St.  Francis de Sales Church Parking lot (434 Second St. W.) from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM.  Come get your car washed * have a bite to eat * pick up a treasure!

This Annual event is held as a fund raiser in support of the Knights Council's charitable programs in the Cornwall Community.

Come and enjoy our 9th Annual Truck and Tractor Pull held at the fairgrounds on Saturday August 26. Gates open at 10am, first pull is at 2pm.

The fun continues when the last tractor pulls - with the music of JAY ALLEN.

Food vendors on-site, beer tent and new this year - BLACK GOLD BREWERY.

Hope in Motion is a mobility inclusive event where you set the challenge! Walk or wheel your way around the track at Canada Games Park, at your own pace, setting your own goal.

We’re bringing together our HDS family of healthcare staff, patients, program graduates and loved ones, along with our caring community to raise funds for patient equipment needs at Hotel Dieu Shaver - Niagara's only rehabilitation and complex care hospital. 

Whether your goal is 50m or 5,000m, 1 lap or 10 laps,  all abilities are invited to help us set Hope in Motion!
