Pastafest in Support of Uganda Water for Life

05:30 PM — 07:00 PM

Join us on April 24, 2024 from 5:30 pm -7:00 pm at the Brooke- Alvinston- Inwood Community Center for a fabulous pasta supper in support of Uganda Water for LIfe.  In August, a group of 12 people (adults and teenagers) will be traveling to Uganda to build two wells in remote Uganda Villages. This group is affiliated with Scouts and the Interact Club of Sarnia (Rotary).  All funds raised are used to purchase items to make the wells as the participants must pay for their own trip.  Cost for the pasta dinner is $15 for over 12 years of age, $10 for youth between 5-12, Free for kids under 5.  Takeout is available. Life With A Baby is holding a 50/50 raffle, closing on May 1st.  Help us help parents.   Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs), including depression and anxiety, affect 1 in 5 women. Life With A Baby focuses on preventing social isolation–a pivotal precursor to PMADs. We offer activities, events, workshops, support groups, counselling led by mental health professionals, and opportunities to build the village every parent needs to thrive.
