Hailey Ford
Hailey Ford has lived in Oakville since birth. As long as she can remember, she’s been driven by a desire to do good in her community and country. She attended Post's Corners Public School and White Oaks Secondary School. She is currently completing her third-year of journalism at Toronto Metropolitan University, where she is president of the Journalism Course Union. As a volunteer, she’s worked heavily with United Way and the Ontario Health Coalition.
Anita Anand
The Honourable Anita Anand is a Canadian lawyer, academic, and politician serving as Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry since March 2025. Representing Oakville in the House of Commons since 2019, she has held various cabinet positions, including Minister of Public Services and Procurement, Minister of National Defence, and Minister of Transport. Anand is the first Hindu woman elected to Parliament and appointed to a federal cabinet role in Canada. She holds degrees from Queen’s University, the University of Oxford, Dalhousie University, and the University of Toronto.
Bruno Sousa
A longtime Oakville resident, entrepreneur, and community advocate, Bruno has lived in various Oakville neighbourhoods since immigrating in 1987. He brings over 17 years of experience in technology, business development, and grassroots organizing. A four-time candidate, Bruno is committed to affordable housing, restoring economic fairness and bold climate action. He’s running to deliver transformative leadership that puts people and the planet first—because real change starts in our own backyard.
