The Niagara Falls Public Library marked 50 years at their Victoria Avenue location with an open house.

Niagara Parks' annual Poinsettia Show returns to the Floral Showhouse and Bob Romeo stopped by to check out the incredible displays, and see what else the Parks has going on during this year's Winter Festival of Lights.

A special dedication was held Saturday for George Bailey, a cherished member of our Niagara Falls, community and spokesperson of the Niagara Parks Commission for many years. George passed away in June of this year, and over the weekend, a bench located at Locust Grove in Queenston, was dedicated in his name. 

Family and friends gathered for the dedication in honour of a man who was integrated into the fabric of our community for many years.

Congratulations to our partners at Start Me Up Niagara & REACH Niagara who held their own "Celebration of Partners" Friday in St. Catharines! 

St. Catharines MPP & Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Housing, Infrastructure & Communities Chris Bittle was also in attendance, bringing a substantial funding announcement to REACH Niagara.

The Buffalo Bandits and the Las Vegas Desert Dogs squared off in a pre-season National Lacrosse League game at the Meridian Centre in downtown St. Catharines.
