George Bailey Bench Dedication At Locust Grove
A special dedication was held Saturday for George Bailey, a cherished member of our Niagara Falls, community and spokesperson of the Niagara Parks Commission for many years. George passed away in June of this year, and over the weekend, a bench located at Locust Grove in Queenston, was dedicated in his name.
Family and friends gathered for the dedication in honour of a man who was integrated into the fabric of our community for many years.
"Celebration of Partners" & Health Canada Funding for REACH Niagara
Congratulations to our partners at Start Me Up Niagara & REACH Niagara who held their own "Celebration of Partners" Friday in St. Catharines!
St. Catharines MPP & Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Housing, Infrastructure & Communities Chris Bittle was also in attendance, bringing a substantial funding announcement to REACH Niagara.

NLL Exhibition Game - Bandits vs Desert Dogs
The Buffalo Bandits and the Las Vegas Desert Dogs squared off in a pre-season National Lacrosse League game at the Meridian Centre in downtown St. Catharines. This was the first ever professional game played in the city, which will proudly host the 2025 Minto Cup next August 16th to 24th. Swords for Socks
To help out Tool Box Project Niagara, Sifu Rob Atalick will be teaching a fun Kung Fu Sword Workshop for anyone (ages 12+ and Black Sash) who brings a brand-new package of socks (or underwear or deodorant) as a donation, Saturday Nov. 30th from 2:00 - 3:00 PM.
