Now in it’s 28th year, the Bigger Together Golf Classic was held on Monday, August 30, 2021 at the St. Catharines Golf & Country Club, and is the signature summer event for Big brothers Big sisters of North & West in its ability to continue to match youth (Littles) with mentors (Bigs).

The Niagara On The Lake Rotary Club recently held their 1st annual Charity Golf Tournament at Beechwood Golf Club. Proceeds raised benefitted Niagara Nursery School and Nia Technologies' Freedom To Stand, who create 3D prosthetics for children in Sri Lanka. The first-ever Niagara Strongman show took place at Safari Niagara recently. About 20 athletes from across Ontario competed in six different events to see who would be crowned "King of the Jungle!" Mike Balsom reports.

The Town of Lincoln held a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open Angelina Macri Prokich Park located at 5045 Connor Drive in Beamsville. Family members, Town staff and representatives from Losani Homes were in attendance to help celebrate the event. Mike Balsom files this report.
