Niagara Falls Community Outreach Soup Kitchen
In 2020, the Niagara Falls Community Outreach Soup Kitchen served close to 54,000 meals out of their location on St. Lawrence Avenue. This month they are running four food drives across the city to help stock their shelves. We welcome Bonnie Brady to The Source.
Great Wolf Lodge Reopening and Job Fair
Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls was one of the first attractions to close when COVID hit, and will be one of the last to reopen. General Manager Keith Simmonds talked to Jennifer Wittig about their plans for a safe reopening in August and an upcoming Job Fair for those looking to join their pack!

Happy Retirement Mike
Our very own Mike Balsom has officially retired from teaching at Laura Secord Secondary School at the District School Board of Niagara in St. Catharines. Friends and family sent in some funny clips to send off Mike in style!! Good news though, you can still see his face on YourTV Niagara...and some buses here and there. Congratulations Mike. You deserve it!
The Puck Stops Here!
At the beginning of June, the Ontario Hockey League held the 2021 Priority Selection and the Niagara IceDogs selected sixteen players over the course of two days. The Dogs have signed four of those players already including second round pick, goaltender Joey Costanzo. Joey joined Mike on Zoom to discuss his thoughts on playing for Niagara this season.
