Big Brothers Big Sisters of Niagara supporters gathered at Niagara Pen Centre for details on the 2nd annual Big Start campaign. The promotion helps students receive some back to school essentials.
Project SHARE Celebrates 15-Year Reunion of "Ten Men In A Tent" Fundraiser
Project SHARE in Niagara Falls will be celebrating the 15 year anniversary of the "10 Men In A Tent" fundraising campaign with a food drive and BBQ Thurs. Aug. 15th, 11AM-5PM, at their location at 4129 Stanley Ave. in Niagara Falls. 101 More FM's (and one of the original 10) Rob White will be broadcasting live during the event, and encourages everyone to stop by with a non-perishable food item or donation for Project SHARE. Hope to see you there!

Bronze Shoes Famine Trail at The St. Catharines Museum & Welland Canals Centre
Bob Romeo met up with Patrick Treacy, Chairman of Irish Music Niagara, at The St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre to learn more about a pair of bronze shoes, taking up temporary residence at the Museum. Niagara plans to be part of an international heritage trail memorializing Irish immigrants who fled the potato famine in the 1800s and landed in ports around the world.
Madette Mendoza
Madette Mendoza is an inspiring artist, music teacher, and youth mental health speaker from Niagara Falls, who has taken her inspirational story literally to the next level. Madette Mendoza recently won second place at North America's largest inspirational speaking competition called Speaker Slam. She joins Jennifer Wittig in the YourTV studio to discuss her success.

"Rock 4 Paws", a fundraiser for The Niagara SPCA and Humane Society returns once again this year, but this time at Whiskey & Walleye in Port Colborne! Join Niagara legends "Ruckus" as they rock the night away - while raising funds for our four legged friends at the SPCA. The St. Catharines Rotary Ribfest
A reminder that this year's St. Catharines Rotary Ribfest is coming up August 2-5 at Montebello Park in St. Catharines! As one of St. Catharines biggest downtown events, there are over 30,000 annual attendees, 35 hours of live music, local 20 vendors offering food, drinks, merchandise and of course plenty of ribs from your favourite ribbers.
