Rankin Celebrity Ice Cup
The 5th annual Rankin Celebrity Ice Cup took place at the Gale Centre in Niagara Falls. 18 former NHL players including John Scott, Doug Gilmour and Andre Roy laced up the skates for this great cause. Over $266,000 was raised this year for the Hotel Dieu Shaver. Bob Romeo reports.

Whisky Tasting At Navy Hall in Niagara On The Lake
The Friends of Fort George, in collaboration with Forty Creek Distillery, held a special event at Navy Hall Friday night - their second annual Whisky Tasting event. Monies raised from the event help support historic events at the Fort and the hiring of more students for the summer. James J. Hall was there and files this report.
