Mitten Tree 2019
The Mitten Tree Campaign. The St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre continues its holiday and winter-time tradition of collecting new and gently used winter-wear items for our local community.

The Nutcracker
The SHSM Arts & Culture students at Welland Centennial Secondary School are collaborating with professional musicians to bring The Nutcracker to the stage at JM Ennis Auditorium. Music students from Laura Secord Secondary School, Eastdale Secondary School and E.L. Crossley will also be part of the production. The show takes place on Friday, November 29th at 12:30 pm.
Mewburn Bridge
Mewburn Bridge has finally reopened. Community leaders from Niagara Falls & Niagara on the Lake held a ribbon cutting to officially reopen the connection between the communities.

Enbridge Gas Inc. has donated 126 combination smoke alarms/carbon monoxide alarms to the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake Fire & Emergency Services Department. This was part of the province-wide "Project Zero" program. Greg Lavelle reports.
