The 2018 Niagara On The Lake Peach Festival
The 28th annual Niagara On The Lake Peach Festival took place recently on Queen St., and Mike Balsom was there to learn more about this very popular fruit festival that attracts both locals and visitors from all over!
Heater's Heroes
The 8th annual Heater's Heroes charity event took place at Oakes Park in Niagara Falls. 8 children fighting various diseases took a victory lap around the track organized by Mike Strange. Lori Taraba reports.
Fill the Bus Food Drive
Zehrs, Welland and First Student teamed up once again to host a "Fill the Bus" food drive to benefit The Hope Centre. Donations will go to support the annual "Snacks and Sneakers" event on August 22nd. Lori Taraba reports.

Local restaurants raised funds for Community Care and competed for the title of best wings in St. Catharines.

A unique fundraiser in Ridgeway saw residents come out in force to support the Douglas Memorial Hospital.
Cops for Cancer Head Shaving
The Niagara Regional Police Service held their first annual Cops for Cancer Head Shaving event at Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls. Money raised from the event will go to support the Cops for Cancer Tour de Golden Horseshoe from September 18th-21st which supports Childhood Cancer funding and research. Lori Taraba reports.
Renovations For Six

Miracle treat Day 2018
The 16th annual Miracle Treat Day will take place on Thursday, August 9th at participating Dairy Queen locations throughout Canada. Purchase a Blizzard at any South Central Ontario DQ location and the proceeds will go to support McMaster Children's Hospital Foundation. Norah-Jean Howard reports.
