This is Emergency Preparedness Week. Keeping Niagara prepared for an emergency involves a team of volunteers who give their time to the Community Emergency Response Team or CERT.

Every year thousands of people in Niagara are forced to choose between safe menstrual products and other basic necessities. The Period Promise campaign raises awareness that there are individuals living in poverty in our community who are struggling to afford to purchase menstrual hygiene products.
