Ontario's Minister of Finance, Peter Bethlenfalvy recently made a stop in Peterborough alongside MPP Dave Smith. One of the stops included the YourTV studios where Queen's Park Report host George Gall had a chance to sit down with the Finance Minister and MPP Smith to discuss the province's economic outlook.

Once again yourTV will be the home of Peterborough Lakers home broadcasts and the season is a little more than a month away!  Pete Dalliday and Scott Arnold will be back on the call this season along with our excellent crew of volunteers and it all gets underway on May 21st @ 8pm as the Lakers take on the three time defending MANN Cup champion Six Nations Chiefs.

The Peterborough Humane Society is celebrating its 85th birthday and they’re inviting the community to help make a difference, through their FUR-EVER FRIENDS CLUB.  Monthly donors provide steady support that helps care for the animals all year long. Right now, you can join for .85 cents a day. Here’s more on how this program is changing lives, one pet at a time.

Peterborough Musicfest has given us a peek behind the curtain on its thirty-ninth season at Del Crary Park. Kicking things off on Opening Night, Saturday, June 27th.
