Ptbo Rotary Carl Oake Swimathon 2020
Friday February 28. YourTV attended the 34th annual Ptbo Rotary Carl Oake Swimathon at the Peterborough YMCA of Central East Ontario. Around 20 teams of Swimmers hit the pool between 7am and 8am in support of Peterborough Rotary Club and Easter Seals. Peterborough Special Olympics Swim Team entered a team of swimmers who relayed throughout hour long event. Carl Oake’s Daughter Vanessa Oake-Hogan took over from her father as the events co-chair and Carl’s Daughter, Renee Oake swam the hour long event, something Carl did for many years.
